We can also import data from other systems where the database is accessible, or the information can be retrieved as Excel or CSV files.
Optimax uses a responsive development approach in maintaining and extending our platform solutions. This allows us to respond rapidly with smaller incremental updates to address issues or add new features, rather than larger more disruptive monolithic updates. These incremental updates also minimize the time and workload involved to complete the update process. The actual update is performed by our cloud admin team and happens entirely on our cloud-based servers. These updates occur in a fixed weekly maintenance window to minimize disruption for end users.
Yes! Optimax uses a role-based security system where each role can grant or deny permission for objects, operations, and navigation. Each user account is assigned one or more roles to determine their functional permissions. You can manage the security roles, or your support team can manage them for you. Either way, they are configured and adjusted to suit your needs.
The Optimax database engine logs all transactions in real time to ensure absolute data integrity and the ability to recover from failure. The entire database is backed up daily, and the backups are stored in multiple datacenters apart from the production database to ensure redundancy and availability.
